The body sits;  Senses sense;  Breath comes and goes;  The mind thinks;  I am awareness, illuminating, ever fresh, ever present.

Meditation 11  October 9, 2014   Download Audio

I know body, senses, breath, thoughts, emotions;  They do not know me;  I illumine them all;  There is no discontinuity in ever-present awareness that illumines all passing states of mind.

Meditation 12  October 16, 2014   Download Audio

Do thoughts cover me?  Aham asmi – I am;  Aham bhāmi – I shine;  Like the sun, self revealing, unobscured;  I am present to the coming, presence, and going of all phenomena.

Meditation 13  October 23, 2014   Download Audio

Every sensation comes into my presence, stays, and goes;  The thought is variable – I am the constant;  I do not come into existence when a thought appears;  I do not disappear when the thought goes; Aham asmi – I am;  Aham bhāmi – I shine, illumining the coming and going of all internal and external phenomena;  No thought, sensation, emotion stains me; Desires, aversions, anger come and go; I shine, asangaḥ – ever free, unstained, ever fresh.

Meditation 14  December 11, 2014   Download Audio

I offer no resistance to thoughts or feelings;  No self-judgement based on contents of mind or heart;  All subtle emotional and mental phenomena occur within awareness;  Awareness is nitya-śuddhaḥ – never stained, nothing sticks to me;  I am;  I exist;  All movement of the mind, heart, intellect, all subtle names and forms rest in awareness, move in the space of motionless awareness;  I as awareness do not move; Acalo ‘ham;  I exist, still, silent, free.

Meditation 15  December 18, 2014   Download Audio

The sense of touch permeates this body, sensing objects other than the body, and sensing the body itself; Both are objects of perception;  I take no other object in this world as myself;  When the body walks, do I walk?  Imagine the absence of all senses – Where would my identification with this body be?  I am the pramātā, the knower;  If I am not this body, where do I exist in space?  If I am not inherently this body, where is mortality for me?

Meditation 16  January 8, 2015   Download Audio

All objects, those physical, and others subtle, existing in my internal landscape, are known to me;  I exist, illumining the coming, presence, and going of all thought, feeling, perception; There is no moment not illumined by awareness;  I am present even during the silence between thoughts;  I do not come or go with the coming or going of thought; No thought displaces me, consciousness, existence;  In the present moment I illumine thought, and silence.

Meditation 17  January 15, 2015   Download Audio

Watching a sunset – No demands, no judgement, no resistance to the inevitably changing colors; With this appreciation I greet all experiences and people in my life; Self-judgement or condemnation, based on conditions of the mind or heart, transform into self-acceptance and forgiveness; My life, externally and internally, unfolds like the colors of a sunset; I am free; Asango ‘ham. Om śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ.

Meditation 18  January 22, 2015   Download Audio

Body sits; Breath breath; Senses perceive;  Mind thinks;  Heart feels;  Do I sit, breath, perceive, think, feel?  Am I happy, sad, agitated, calm, desirous, satiated?  All are functions of the sūkṣmaṣarīra;  The ahaṃkāra claims them as my own;  They depend upon me, but I am free of them, as the gold is free of the chain, asangaḥ;  I illumine even the most intense feelings;  They come and go, I remain;  Thoughts are my ornamentation, I am the gold, ever shining, ever free;   Asango’ham.

Meditation 19  January 29, 2015   Download Audio

Choosing to befriend the mind;  Approaching with compassion;  Inviting trust and truth;  Asking its secrets;  Invoking no fear;  Listening fearlessly;  No judgement;  Enveloping love;  All is in order;  Receiving with unconditional love and acceptance, because that is truly my nature.  Pūrṇo’ham.

Meditation 20  February 05, 2015   Download Audio

Surrendering to each moment; Emotional phenomena; Letting opinions come and go;  Invoking the inner devotee;Om Īśāya namaḥ; Welcoming thoughts, feelings, fears as prasādam;   Listening to the silence between each chant;  Appreciating the innate quietude of myself; Everything arises in the silence that is me; I am not displaced by the coming or going of thoughts; Just as waves rolling onto the shore are nothing but water, so too every thought is consciousness alone, plus a particular name form;
