Guided Meditation

Guided meditations introduce a series of simple yet powerful techniques to quieten the mind and open the heart. These meditations nurture a relaxed, alert mind that helps one to appreciate the teaching of one’s inherent wholeness in an immediate and personal way.  These techniques are also the stepping stones to nididhyāsana – contemplation on the reality of the very meditator, which will also be explored.

The meditation recordings can be used to develop a regular daily meditation practice – A beautiful way to start the day!

Listen to the Wednesday guided meditation sessions

These sessions will begin with the introduction of simple meditation techniques and build upon previous sessions, leading to nididhyāsana, contemplation upon the truth of the contemplator.

You need not have a current meditation practice to attend. No RSVP is necessary.

The first 2 Wednesday sessions present a short introduction consisting of an overview of the place of meditation practice within one’s spiritual life.  You can listen to the talks HERE.

The time for these sessions is just prior to the Wednesday evening Gita discussion group meeting and prior to the Saturday morning Vedanta class.  All are welcome to join the Gitadiscussion group or Vedanta class, but the meditations sessions are independent of these.
